Bush Is Officially The Worst President On Record

From CNN.com

"A new poll suggests that President Bush is the most unpopular president in modern American history.

A CNN/Opinion Research Corp. survey released Thursday indicates that 71 percent of the American public disapprove of how Bush is handling his job as president.

"No president has ever had a higher disapproval rating in any CNN or Gallup Poll; in fact, this is the first time that any president's disapproval rating has cracked the 70 percent mark," said Keating Holland, CNN's polling director.

"Bush's approval rating, which stands at 28 percent in our new poll, remains better than the all-time lows set by Harry Truman and Richard Nixon [22 percent and 24 percent, respectively], but even those two presidents never got a disapproval rating in the 70s," Holland said. "The previous all-time record in CNN or Gallup polling was set by Truman, 67 percent disapproval in January 1952."

I'm not in the mood to explain to those who need explaining too, but I often wonder what will the history books remember about George? What will future editions of High School History have to say about his presidency? I can't think of one successful venture or national gain that he has accomplished. instead he has been the most divisive president in history, pushing Americans further apart from each other than ever before.

Truly the most awful political even of my lifetime thus far.

A real post coming soon....

The only thing I will say in defense of President Bush is that we as a nation are only looking at him from a period of what, like maybe 5-8 Presidents when there has been like 12-15 since 'Modern Times". How wold he fair against presidents at the turn of the last century and what do we consider "modern Times"? How would he shape up against Wilson, or Hoover? Bush has been bad, no doubt, but Hoover led us into a national disaster far greater then Iraq or the current econmomy

I suspect Senator Obama's going to fare considerably better. We'll see in 2016.

IT'S NO SURPRISE TO ME THAT CNN WOULD CONDUCT THIS POLL IN FAVOR OF (AS THE MILITARY REFERS TO THEM) "THE COMMUNIST NEWS NETWORK". I HOPE BY NOW EVERYONE WHO HAS A MIND TO THINK KNOWS BETTER THAN TO TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY. IT'S OBVIOUSLY IMPOSSIBLE TO GET ANYTHING FAIR FROM THIS GROUP. THE ONLY PEOPLE DIVIDING THIS COUNTRY ARE PEOPLE LIKE REV. WRIGHT AND HIS FOLLOWERS AND PEOPLE LIKE ROSIE O'DONNELL, ALEC BALDWIN, HARRISON FORD, AND ALL THE HUNDREDS OF "BRILLIANT MOVIE STARS AS THEY CLAIM EACH OTHER TO BE" AND THEIR FOLLOWERS. WE DEFINITELY NEED MORE TOGETHERNESS IN PARTS OF THIS COUNTRY BUT IT CANNOT HAPPEN WITH THESE PEOPLE ALWAYS TEARING OUR COUNTRY DOWN BECAUSE THEY FEEL THE NEED TO BE A REBEL. SOMETIMES I WISH THEY WOULD FIND THEIR OWN ISLAND TO BURN BUT MORE THAN ANYTHING I WOULD RATHER THEY PUT DOWN THEIR FIREPOWER(WORDS,POSITION AND MONEY)DOWN AND USE IT TO HELP UNITE US THAN DIVIDE US.

The scariest aspect about the fact that Bush is (a) the worst president EVER and (b) that a huge majority of his countrymen agree he is the worst, is that these Neo-cons (Bush included) really could care LESS. They have acheived their goals of reviving the "
"Military Industrial Complex" so as to fill the pockets of his corporate colleagues (and milk the wages of the average U.S. citizen) for decades to come. They don't CARE about your opinion of them. They had a goal. The U.S. electorate was asleep at the wheel and let fraudulent computer voting machines go unchecked, and fraudulent acts at poling places go unchecked. And the people who lined up to vote for him again are the very people who's children are being disabled and killed, and who are losing jobs, and shouldering the high cost of gas and food now. These exact repercussions may not ALL have been specific objectives but they serve to further disempower the ave. citizen so we become the victim of legislation and not the proponents of the representative system our forefathers had in mind.

I hope enough of the 'disapproving' public understand how important it is that regardless of the "gossip mongers" of the news cycles (Obama's pastor, or Hillary's "finding her voice" story), they focus on A CHANGING OF THE GUARD. 4 more years of a Republican controled admin, and America as we know it is over. Not to mention we've created more hatred toward us among people who will soon have bombs. More of the same will not make us safer.
