Was the ice still out in the arena?? At first glance, it looked like that concrete that's under arena ice, but after looking again I think I see light reflection and scratches...?
Great shots. I love the black and white. The arena lights are perfect in the background. The b&w sort of gets rid of all distractions and the contrasts bring your eye straight to the subject. Very nicely done!
